ARTICLE 1 – DESIGNATION:
Rental vehicle for private use.
ARTICLE 2 – DESTINATION:
The vehicle is intended exclusively for private and personal use as a passenger vehicle.
ARTICLE 3 – CONDITIONS CONCERNING THE DRIVER:
The driver of the rented vehicle certifies being in possession of a driving license valid for at least 2 years, to be 23 years old (18 years old and 0 year of driving license for the “young driver” option) and to have enough points to use it. “The vehicle can only be driven by the tenant (s) declared in the contract to the exclusion of any other driver.” The tenant remains fully responsible for the rented vehicle and its accessories.
ARTICLE 4 – ASSIGNMENT OF RENT:
The tenant cannot assign or sub-rent the vehicle.
ARTICLE 5 – DURATION:
This contract is concluded from (date on the back) to (date on the back)
ARTICLE 6 – REFUND:
At the end of the contract, the tenant is required to return the vehicle to the rental agency at his domicile or at any place indicated by the latter.
The rental contract and the responsibility of the tenant only end upon receipt of the vehicle, keys and papers by the tenant or a person authorized by him.
The vehicle, as well as all the accessories available for the tenant must be returned in the condition found at the beginning of the rental. The loss as well as the deterioration of the vehicle or accessories oblige the tenant financially.
ARTICLE 7 – RENTAL COST:
This contract is agreed and accepted upon payment (see back)
ARTICLE 8 – ADDITIONAL COSTS:
Any costs incurred by the owner to return the vehicle are on tenant’s responsibility. The same will apply to the additional fuel if the vehicle has been picked up with the full tank and it is not return in the same conditions. (Conversely, no reimbursement will be made). More generally, he will pay for all of the services, services rendered and expenses paid on his behalf by the rental agency out of necessity or convenience of management.
This volume of fuel will be invoiced at a flat rate of 30 to 100 € including tax depending on the category of the vehicle (specified on the rental contract).
The customer must pay for repairs caused by a fuel error.
ARTICLE 9 – MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS:
The renter agrees to maintain the vehicle to the best of his ability, to carry out all the checks made compulsory or deemed necessary. Except in the event of assumption of responsibility by an insurance company, he will support all repairs which would become necessary as a result of degradations resulting from his act or from third parties. He must maintain it, for the entire duration of the rental, and make it in good repair condition as well as in perfect state of cleanliness. He will not be able to make any modification or arrangement in the vehicle. He will regularly check the different levels (oil, water, steering or coolant) and check the tire pressure. The tenant is responsible for all damage caused by his negligence. In addition, the tenant is responsible for all damage resulting from filling the tank with unsuitable fuel.
ARTICLE 10 – CONDITIONS:
This rental is granted and accepted under ordinary charges and law conditions in such matters and in particular under the following ones that the renter undertakes to perform and fulfill:
Vehicle condition:
The lessee will take the vehicle in the state it is in on the day it is made available. In the absence of a condition of the vehicle drawn up contradictorily between the parties on the day of entry into possession, the lessee will be presumed to have received the vehicle in good used condition and clean without subsequently being able to establish proof to the contrary.
Enjoyment: The tenant must enjoy the vehicle. In particular, He must take all precautions to strictly comply with the prescriptions of all regulations and the Highway Code.
Prohibited uses:
The tenant is prohibited from using the vehicle:
to take part in motorized sporting events, vehicle tests and as a driving school;
to transport goods or people for remuneration;
to tow or move another vehicle in any way;
overloaded with a number of people or a payload exceeding the values indicated by the manufacturer;
to transport flammable, explosive, toxic or dangerous goods;
to commit crimes, misdemeanors and other offenses.
Insurance:
The vehicle and the equipment that make it up are ALL RISK insured policy, by the rental company with a insurance company. Civil Liability + Theft + Fire + Ice + Natural Disasters + Technological Disasters + Damage to all accidents. Damage, Fire, Natural Disasters, Theft : from € 750. Theft from a trailer is not guaranteed.
Vehicle Legal Protection: For disputes that you encounter with a third party identified in relation to the ownership or driving of the vehicle.
Assistance: You benefit from assistance 0 km, breakdown and accident. Your vehicle is repaired even in front of you. You and your passengers benefit from assistance in Green Card countries in the event of breakdowns and accidents.
Occurrence of damage: The tenant must immediately notify the police or gendarmerie in the event of an accident, theft, loss, fire, damage caused by game or other damage and have a report or trial established. -verbal attesting to the conditions under which the incident took place. In any event, the lessee is required to inform the lessor of any event affecting the vehicle. ARTICLE 11 – RENTER’S LIABILITY:
The rental company is in no way liable to the tenant or third parties for accidents or damage occurring during the rental period. The lessor is not liable for damage caused by a defect affecting the vehicle, unless this defect is the result of intentional fault or gross negligence on his part.
ARTICLE 12 – RESOLUTORY CLAUSE:
In the absence of payment or execution of only one of the conditions herein, the rental contract will be automatically terminated after sending a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt which has remained unsuccessful. In addition, in accordance with the provisions of article 1226 of the Civil Code, it is expressly agreed that the entirety of the unpaid amounts on their due date will be, by way of penal clause, increased by ten percent, eight days after the sending, by the lessor, of a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, claiming the payment and indicating his intention to implement this clause. The above provisions do not preclude the termination clause or the payment of damages claimed by the lessor.
ARTICLE 13 – CAUTIONARY DEPOSIT:
The cautionary deposit is fixed at the sum of 25 000 Rs (ca.500 Euros)
This amount will guarantee the proper performance of the obligations and sums to which the tenant is bound. The security deposit less 50 €will be returned when the vehicle is returned, after the parties have taken care to check the condition of the rented item.
The sum of 50 € will be kept for a period of 2 months after the return of the vehicle to prevent the reception of reports attributed to the rental.
The contractual excess in the event of a fully or partially responsible accident; for damage of a cost lower than the excess, the rate corresponding to the repair estimate (manufacturer, bodybuilder or approved expert) will be applied
ARTICLE 14 – INVOICING PROCEDURE

Traffic violation
The amounts of fines and miscellaneous fines, parking fees and legally payable by you and related to the use of the vehicle noted during the rental. Car Mileage
Our vehicles are inclusive of unlimited mileage. No mileage costs can be charged to you.
ARTICLE 15 – RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION FEES:
Booking
All reservations must be accompanied by a 30% deposit by check or by credit card numbers to be considered guaranteed. This will be guaranteed until the delivery of the vehicle. Payment for additional invoicing on site by credit card, check or holiday vouchers upon receipt of the vehicle.
Providing us your credit card details to guarantee your reservation is considered approval of the debit authorization.
Booking modification
Any modification to the reservation is possible without extra charge. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of vehicles. In the event that a modification is not possible, you must respect the original reservation or submit to the cancellation conditions. For any early return, the remaining days are on your responsibility. For any extension validated by rental meeting, the cost of additional days will be invoiced according to the daily basis of the first contract.
Cancellation
Cancellation possible within 20 days before the vehicle pick-up date without extra charge with reimbursement of the deposit received. After this period, the deposit check will not be refundable.

5. Cookies and Their Use
Our content management system and business software use cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on the computer's hard drive that allow recognition but do not allow personal identification. They serve, among other things, to facilitate navigation on a website or to add products to the shopping cart or wish list in an e-commerce store and to display particularly relevant/useful information on a portal.
Each user has the option to prevent cookies from being stored on their hard drive by selecting "do not accept cookies" in their browser settings. Alternatively, users can configure their browser to ask for consent before setting cookies. Finally, once cookies are set, they can be deleted at any time. If users do not accept cookies, this may lead to functional restrictions in some cases. However, even without active deletion, the cookie is automatically deleted after twelve months.
Children and individuals under 18 years old should not submit personal data to us without the consent of their parents or guardians.

General Terms

Article 1 – Rental Vehicle
The rental vehicle is made available to the renter for private use.
Article 2 – Vehicle Use
The vehicle is intended exclusively for private use and passenger transportation.
Article 3 – Driver Conditions
The driver of the rented vehicle confirms that they hold a valid driving licence corresponding to the category of the rented vehicle, and that they are not subject to any suspension, disqualification or cancellation of the right to drive in Mauritius.
The driver must be at least 21 years old and must have held a driving licence for at least 1 year.
The vehicle may only be driven by the driver or drivers declared in the rental agreement. No other driver is authorised to drive the vehicle.
The renter remains fully responsible for the rented vehicle and its accessories throughout the rental period.
Article 4 – Transfer of Rental
The renter may not transfer, assign or sub-rent the vehicle.
Article 5 – Rental Period
The rental agreement is concluded for the period indicated in the rental contract, according to the agreed pick-up and return dates and times.
Article 6 – Vehicle Return
At the end of the rental agreement, the renter must return the vehicle to the location agreed with the rental company.
The rental agreement and the renter’s responsibility only end when the rental company, or a person authorised by it, effectively takes back possession of the vehicle, keys and accessories provided at the start of the rental.
The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as recorded at the beginning of the rental. Loss or damage to the vehicle, keys, documents or accessories will result in the renter’s financial liability.
Article 7 – Rental Cost and Payment
The rental is concluded at the rate indicated in the rental agreement.
The booking is subject to availability confirmation by Indian Ocean Holidays.
Payment is made upon delivery of the vehicle, when the keys are handed over, according to the payment terms agreed with the customer.
Article 8 – Additional Costs
Any costs incurred by the rental company to recover the vehicle are payable by the renter, particularly if the vehicle is not returned to the agreed location.
The renter is responsible for all costs and repairs resulting from incorrect fuel use, misuse of the vehicle or negligence.
Article 9 – Maintenance and Repairs
The renter agrees to use the vehicle carefully and to keep it in good condition throughout the rental period.
The renter must keep the vehicle clean and may not make any modification or alteration to the vehicle.
The renter must carry out the usual checks required, including fluid levels and tyre pressure, and must inform the rental company of any issue or abnormality.
Unless covered by insurance, the renter is responsible for repair costs resulting from damage, misuse or negligence.
Article 10 – General Conditions of Use
Vehicle condition
The renter accepts the vehicle in the condition in which it is provided at the time of delivery.
In the absence of a vehicle condition report signed by both parties, the vehicle is presumed to have been delivered in good and clean condition.
Use of the vehicle
The renter must use the vehicle in accordance with applicable regulations and road traffic rules in Mauritius.
Prohibited use
The renter may not use the vehicle:
- for motor racing, competitions or as a driving school vehicle;
- to transport goods or passengers for payment;
- to tow or push another vehicle;
- with more passengers or load than the authorised capacity;
- to transport flammable, explosive, toxic or dangerous materials;
- to commit any offence or illegal act;
- off-road, including on beaches, sand, tracks or non-drivable paths;
- under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any substance affecting the ability to drive.
Insurance
The vehicle is covered by insurance according to the guarantees provided in the rental agreement. The applicable excess / deductible in case of damage or accident is indicated in the rental agreement.
Assistance
Assistance is included in case of breakdown or accident. The assistance number is indicated in the rental agreement or communicated to the customer when the vehicle is delivered.
Damage
In case of accident, theft or damage, the renter must immediately inform Indian Ocean Holidays and contact the police when required.
The vehicle must not be used after an accident without the prior approval of the rental company.
The renter must complete an accident statement or report and, where possible, complete an agreed accident report with the other driver.
If several vehicles are involved, a document must be completed with each driver. In case of refusal to cooperate, the renter must record the registration number of the vehicle involved and, where possible, obtain witness statements or contact the police.
The renter must provide the rental company with the report number / police case number and send all requested documents without delay.
Article 11 – Renter’s Liability
The renter is responsible for any damage, loss or theft occurring during the rental period, within the limits and conditions provided in the rental agreement and by the insurance.
The rental company is not responsible for damage, loss or costs suffered by the renter due to the use of the vehicle during the rental period, except in case of fault by the rental company in accordance with applicable law.
Article 12 – Termination Clause
In case of non-payment, failed payment or breach of any clause of the rental agreement, the rental company reserves the right to cancel the booking and/or terminate the rental immediately, without compensation.
Any amount due under the rental agreement remains payable.
Article 13 – Security Deposit
A security deposit of Rs 25,000 is required at the start of the rental.
This deposit may be paid in cash or secured by a card pre-authorisation, according to the terms provided in the rental agreement.
This deposit guarantees the renter’s obligations under the rental agreement.
When the vehicle is returned, the deposit is refunded and/or the pre-authorisation is released after the vehicle condition has been checked, minus any amounts due: damage, missing fuel, exceptional cleaning fees, fines, administrative fees or any other amount provided in the rental agreement.
The release of a bank pre-authorisation may take several business days, depending on bank processing times.
Fines and traffic violations occurring during the rental period remain the renter’s responsibility. Administrative fees may apply if the rental company has to process such violations.
In case of an at-fault accident, the applicable excess / deductible is the one indicated in the rental agreement.
Article 14 – Billing
Fuel
The vehicle is delivered with a fuel level indicated at the start of the rental and must be returned with an equivalent fuel level.
If this is not the case, the missing fuel will be charged and refuelling fees may apply.
No refund will be made if the vehicle is returned with a higher fuel level.
Traffic violations
Fines, traffic violations and parking fees are payable by the renter.
Administrative fees may apply if the rental company has to process such violations.
Mileage
Mileage is unlimited, unless otherwise stated in the rental agreement.
Article 15 – Booking and Cancellation
Booking
All bookings are subject to availability confirmation by Indian Ocean Holidays.
Payment is made upon delivery of the vehicle, when the keys are handed over.
Modification
Modifications are possible free of charge, subject to vehicle availability.
In case of a change of category, dates or duration, the rate may be adjusted.
Cancellation
Cancellation is free up to 7 business days before vehicle pick-up.
After this period, cancellation fees may apply according to the conditions communicated to the customer at the time of booking.
Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Mauritius.
Early return
No refund is due for unused rental days in case of early return.
Extension
Any extension must be approved by the rental company, subject to availability.
Additional days are charged at the rate agreed with the rental company.
Driver(s)
Only authorised drivers whose names appear in the rental agreement are covered by the insurance.
In case of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the insurance does not apply and all costs related to damage, repairs, towing or additional fees remain payable by the renter.
The vehicle must not carry more passengers than its authorised seating capacity.
Fuel Policy
The renter is responsible for using the correct fuel.
The vehicle is delivered with a fuel level indicated at pick-up and must be returned with an equivalent fuel level.
If this is not the case, the missing fuel will be charged and refuelling fees may apply.
Extra fuel will not be refunded.
Payment and Refund Policy
Payment
Payment is made upon delivery of the vehicle, when the keys are handed over, according to the payment terms agreed with the customer.
Refund / Cancellation
Cancellation is free up to 7 business days before vehicle pick-up, from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Mauritius.
After this period, cancellation fees may apply according to the conditions communicated to the customer at the time of booking.
Once the rental has started, unused rental days in case of early return are not refunded.
Vehicle Change
A change of vehicle, to a higher or lower category, may be authorised depending on availability and remains at the discretion of the rental company.
In case of a change of category or dates, the rate may be adjusted if necessary.
Extension
Any extension must be approved by the rental company, subject to availability.
Additional days are charged at the rate agreed with the rental company.
Insurance and Responsibilities
In case of accident, theft, fire or damage, the renter must immediately inform Indian Ocean Tour Operator Co Ltd and contact the police when required.
The vehicle must not be used after an accident without the prior approval of the company.
When liability is difficult to determine at the time of the incident, the company reserves the right to charge the applicable excess / deductible as indicated in the rental agreement.
After clarification of the case, an adjustment or refund may be made if necessary. Any fees related to the processing of this refund, including bank fees, administrative fees or transfer fees, remain payable by the customer.
In case of theft, loss or damage to vehicle items, including spare wheel, jack and tools, antenna, windscreen wipers, mirrors, hubcaps, keys or any equipment provided at the start of the rental, the renter will be charged replacement or repair costs, within the limit of the excess / deductible, unless otherwise stated in the rental agreement.
All vehicles are delivered in good condition. During the rental, in case of a mechanical issue or if a warning light or abnormality appears on the dashboard, the renter must stop safely as soon as possible and immediately inform the company.
The renter is not allowed to modify, replace parts or repair the vehicle without the company’s prior authorisation.
In case of unauthorised intervention, the costs incurred remain payable by the renter.
In case of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, dangerous driving or gross negligence, the insurance and guarantees do not apply, and the renter remains responsible for all costs: damage, repairs, towing and additional fees.

Article 1 – Véhicule de location
Véhicule de location mis à disposition du locataire pour un usage privé.
Article 2 – Destination du véhicule
Le véhicule est destiné exclusivement à un usage privé et au transport de passagers.
Article 3 – Conditions concernant le conducteur
Le conducteur du véhicule loué certifie être titulaire d’un permis de conduire valide, correspondant à la catégorie du véhicule loué, et ne faire l’objet d’aucune suspension, disqualification ou annulation du droit de conduire à Maurice.
Le conducteur doit être âgé de 21 ans minimum et être titulaire du permis depuis au moins 1 an.
Le véhicule ne peut être conduit que par le ou les conducteurs déclarés dans le contrat de location, à l’exclusion de tout autre conducteur.
Le locataire reste entièrement responsable du véhicule loué et de ses accessoires pendant toute la durée de la location.
Article 4 – Cession de la location
Le locataire ne peut ni céder ni sous-louer le véhicule.
Article 5 – Durée
Le présent contrat est conclu pour la période indiquée au contrat de location, selon les dates et horaires de prise en charge et de restitution convenus.
Article 6 – Restitution
À la fin du contrat, le locataire doit restituer le véhicule au lieu convenu avec le loueur.
Le contrat de location et la responsabilité du locataire ne prennent fin qu’au moment où le loueur, ou une personne autorisée par lui, reprend effectivement possession du véhicule, des clés et des accessoires remis au départ.
Le véhicule doit être restitué dans l’état constaté au début de la location. La perte ou la détérioration du véhicule, des clés, des documents ou des accessoires engage la responsabilité financière du locataire.
Article 7 – Coût de location et paiement
La location est conclue au tarif indiqué au contrat de location.
La réservation est soumise à confirmation de disponibilité par Indian Ocean Holidays.
Le paiement s’effectue à la livraison du véhicule, lors de la remise des clés, selon les modalités convenues avec le client.
Article 8 – Frais supplémentaires
Tous frais engagés par le loueur pour la récupération du véhicule sont à la charge du locataire, notamment si le véhicule n’est pas restitué au lieu convenu.
Le locataire doit assumer l’ensemble des coûts et réparations liés à une erreur de carburant, une mauvaise utilisation du véhicule ou une négligence.
Article 9 – Entretien et réparations
Le locataire s’engage à utiliser le véhicule avec soin et à le maintenir en bon état pendant toute la durée de la location.
Le locataire doit conserver le véhicule propre et ne procéder à aucune modification ou aménagement.
Le locataire doit effectuer les vérifications usuelles nécessaires, notamment les niveaux et la pression des pneus, et signaler au loueur toute anomalie.
Sauf prise en charge par l’assurance, le locataire supporte les frais de réparation résultant d’une dégradation, d’une mauvaise utilisation ou d’une négligence.
Article 10 – Conditions générales d’utilisation
État du véhicule
Le locataire prend le véhicule dans l’état où il se trouve lors de sa mise à disposition.
En l’absence d’un état des lieux contradictoire signé par les parties, le véhicule est présumé avoir été remis en bon état et propre.
Utilisation
Le locataire doit utiliser le véhicule conformément aux règlements en vigueur et au Code de la route à Maurice.
Utilisations interdites
Le locataire ne peut pas utiliser le véhicule :
- pour des compétitions automobiles ou comme voiture-école ;
- pour transporter des marchandises ou des passagers contre rémunération ;
- pour tracter ou pousser un autre véhicule ;
- en surcharge de passagers ou de charge utile ;
- pour transporter des matières inflammables, explosives, toxiques ou dangereuses ;
- pour commettre des infractions ;
- hors route / off-road, notamment sur plage, sable, pistes ou chemins non carrossables ;
- sous l’influence d’alcool, de drogues ou de substances altérant la conduite.
Assurance
Le véhicule est couvert par une assurance selon les garanties prévues au contrat. La franchise applicable en cas de sinistre est indiquée au contrat de location.
Assistance
Une assistance est incluse en cas de panne ou d’accident. Le numéro d’assistance est indiqué sur le contrat ou communiqué au client lors de la remise du véhicule.
Dommages
En cas d’accident, de vol ou de dommages, le locataire doit informer immédiatement Indian Ocean Holidays et prévenir la police lorsque cela est requis.
Le véhicule ne doit pas être utilisé après un accident sans l’accord préalable du loueur.
Le locataire doit compléter une déclaration ou un rapport d’accident et, lorsque cela est possible, établir un constat amiable avec l’autre conducteur.
Si plusieurs véhicules sont impliqués, un document doit être établi avec chaque conducteur. En cas de refus de coopération, le locataire doit relever l’immatriculation du véhicule concerné et, si possible, obtenir des témoignages ou faire intervenir la police.
Le locataire doit fournir au loueur le numéro de rapport / police case number et transmettre sans délai les documents demandés.
Article 11 – Responsabilité du locataire
Le locataire est responsable de tout dommage, perte ou vol survenu pendant la période de location, dans les limites et conditions prévues au contrat de location et par l’assurance.
Le loueur n’est pas responsable des dommages, pertes ou coûts subis par le locataire du fait de l’utilisation du véhicule pendant la période de location, sauf en cas de faute du loueur conformément à la loi applicable.
Article 12 – Clause résolutoire
En cas de non-paiement, d’échec de paiement ou de non-respect d’une clause du contrat, le loueur se réserve le droit d’annuler la réservation et/ou de résilier la location immédiatement, sans indemnité.
Tout montant dû au titre du contrat reste exigible.
Article 13 – Dépôt de garantie
Un dépôt de garantie de Rs 25 000 est exigé au début de la location.
Ce dépôt peut être versé en espèces ou faire l’objet d’une pré-autorisation sur carte bancaire, selon les modalités prévues au contrat.
Ce dépôt garantit l’exécution des obligations du locataire.
À la restitution du véhicule, le dépôt est restitué et/ou la pré-autorisation est libérée après vérification de l’état du véhicule, déduction faite des montants éventuellement dus : dommages, carburant manquant, frais de nettoyage exceptionnel, amendes, frais administratifs ou tout autre montant prévu au contrat.
La libération d’une pré-autorisation bancaire peut prendre plusieurs jours ouvrables selon les délais bancaires.
Les amendes et contraventions survenues pendant la période de location restent à la charge du locataire. Des frais administratifs peuvent s’appliquer en cas de traitement d’infractions par le loueur.
En cas de sinistre responsable, la franchise applicable est celle indiquée au contrat de location.
Article 14 – Facturation
Carburant
Le véhicule est remis avec un niveau de carburant indiqué au départ et doit être restitué avec un niveau équivalent.
À défaut, le carburant manquant sera facturé et des frais de remplissage peuvent s’appliquer.
Aucun remboursement ne sera effectué si le véhicule est restitué avec un niveau de carburant supérieur.
Infractions
Les amendes, contraventions et frais de stationnement sont à la charge du locataire.
Des frais administratifs peuvent s’appliquer en cas de traitement d’infractions par le loueur.
Kilométrage
Le kilométrage est illimité, sauf mention contraire au contrat de location.
Article 15 – Réservation et annulation
Réservation
Toute réservation est soumise à confirmation de disponibilité par Indian Ocean Holidays.
Le paiement s’effectue à la livraison du véhicule, lors de la remise des clés.
Modification
Les modifications sont possibles sans frais, sous réserve de disponibilité du véhicule.
En cas de changement de catégorie, de dates ou de durée, le tarif peut être ajusté.
Annulation
L’annulation est gratuite jusqu’à 7 jours ouvrables avant la prise du véhicule.
Passé ce délai, des frais d’annulation peuvent s’appliquer selon les conditions communiquées au client lors de la réservation.
Les jours ouvrables s’entendent du lundi au vendredi, hors jours fériés à Maurice.
Retour anticipé
Aucun remboursement n’est dû pour les jours de location non utilisés en cas de retour anticipé.
Prolongation
Toute prolongation doit être validée par le loueur, sous réserve de disponibilité.
Les jours supplémentaires sont facturés au tarif convenu avec le loueur.
Conducteur(s)
Seuls les conducteurs autorisés dont le nom figure sur le contrat sont couverts par l’assurance.
En cas d’alcool ou de drogues au volant, l’assurance ne s’applique pas et les coûts liés aux dommages, réparations, remorquage ou frais divers restent à la charge du locataire.
Le véhicule ne doit pas transporter plus de passagers que sa capacité autorisée.
Politique de carburant
Le locataire a la responsabilité d’utiliser le carburant approprié.
Le véhicule est remis avec un niveau de carburant indiqué à la prise en charge et doit être restitué avec un niveau équivalent.
À défaut, le carburant manquant sera facturé et des frais de remplissage peuvent s’appliquer.
Le carburant en surplus ne sera pas remboursé.
Paiement et politique de remboursement
Paiement
Le paiement s’effectue à la livraison du véhicule, lors de la remise des clés, selon les modalités convenues avec le client.
Remboursement / Annulation
L’annulation est gratuite jusqu’à 7 jours ouvrables avant la prise du véhicule, du lundi au vendredi, hors jours fériés à Maurice.
Passé ce délai, des frais d’annulation peuvent s’appliquer selon les conditions communiquées au client lors de la réservation.
Une fois la location commencée, les jours non utilisés en cas de retour anticipé ne sont pas remboursés.
Changement de véhicule
Un changement de véhicule, vers une catégorie supérieure ou inférieure, peut être autorisé selon disponibilité et reste à la discrétion du loueur.
En cas de changement de catégorie ou de dates, le tarif peut être ajusté si nécessaire.
Prolongation
Toute prolongation doit être validée par le loueur, sous réserve de disponibilité.
Les jours supplémentaires sont facturés au tarif convenu avec le loueur.
Assurance et responsabilités
En cas d’accident, de vol, d’incendie ou de dommages, le locataire doit informer immédiatement Indian Ocean Tour Operator Co Ltd et prévenir la police lorsque cela est requis.
Le véhicule ne doit pas être utilisé après un accident sans l’accord préalable de la société.
Lorsque la responsabilité est difficile à établir au moment des faits, la société se réserve le droit de prélever la franchise applicable telle qu’indiquée au contrat.
Après clarification du dossier, un ajustement ou un remboursement pourra être effectué si nécessaire. Les frais liés au traitement de ce remboursement, notamment frais bancaires, frais de dossier ou frais de transfert, restent à la charge du client.
En cas de vol, perte ou détérioration d’éléments du véhicule, notamment roue de secours, cric et outillage, antenne, essuie-glaces, rétroviseurs, enjoliveurs, clés ou tout équipement remis au départ, le locataire sera facturé des frais de remplacement ou de réparation, dans la limite de la franchise, sauf disposition contraire prévue au contrat.
Tous les véhicules sont remis en bon état. Pendant la location, en cas de problème mécanique ou si un voyant ou une anomalie apparaît au tableau de bord, le locataire doit s’arrêter dès que possible en sécurité et informer immédiatement la société.
Le locataire n’a pas le droit de modifier, remplacer des pièces ou faire réparer le véhicule sans l’autorisation préalable de la société.
En cas d’intervention non autorisée, les frais engagés restent à la charge du locataire.
En cas d’alcool ou de drogues au volant, de conduite dangereuse ou de négligence grave, l’assurance et les garanties ne s’appliquent pas, et le locataire reste responsable de l’ensemble des coûts : dommages, réparations, remorquage et frais divers.
